Worst purchase I have ever made

This washer does not get my clothes clean regardless what I do. I bought it because the salesman told me it had a very high spin rate which would help in drying my clothes. However, due to the incredibly low water levels, which I keep at maximum at all times, does not allow the dirt to be carried away, regardless how small the load is. I have been unhappy from the beginning and now I am stuck with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not completely thrilled

initially i was completely dissatisfied with this washer. clothes would come out of a complete cycle and not even be wet! i finally had to set it at the highest setting and include presoak with everything, so i do not believe i am saving any water or energy. i also have to add a "booster" product to the HE detergent for many washes in order to get things clean. In addition, the fancier electronic settings no longer allow you to reset the way the old machines did, if you have to stop it for a long period of time, it empties out. at least it still has a spin only setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This washer has some of the best features that actually work properly! To save energy using my dryer I use the extra spin cycle feature on my GE Profile and it totally takes tons of excess water out of the items!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was skeptical about the direct drive system but my clothes seem to be cleaner and fresher and I cant even tell its running downstairs

I've had this for almost six years, but have NOT been satisfied with the machine. It's now reached the point that I will need to replace it. It is ruining clothes, making crazy noises and I now see it has been dropped - good idea

Trouble since day 1

Since the first day, we have had nothing but trouble with this machine. From incredibly loud banging noises, to bleach leaking onto clothes 3 loads later, to the latest disaster of the drip from the fill tube that filled up the tub (while we were on vacation ) and then overflowed, ruining our laundry room floor, hall floor, ceiling and carpet in the room below. MOST annoying. Don't waste your money!

Control Panel issues

5 person family - many, many loads of laundry through this machine. Went through three control panels until the clutch / brake assembly locked up. First thing to go out was the board, then the brakes didn't work, finally the clutch. It was abused, but it worked for about 7 years until it finally gave up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
