Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've read some bad reviews on this machine and am mystified! We have used this machine at least twice everyday since purchase with excellent results. It is gentle on our clothes and the various features are far more useful than some on other washers. I previously had a Maytag that had so many bells and whistles that I never used half of them. It gets the clothes clean and easily switches from one option to another, performing as well in each mode. Best of all, it holds a ton of wash!! Bottom line--I love the GE Colossal Capacity Machine!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Washer keeps going thru cycles

GE Profile washer Model WPRE8150K2WT cycles are all messed up. Timer keeps resetting itself in regular wash cycles and seems to get stuck in the drain mode. Washer sometimes runs for 2 hours or more before we have to turn it off and put it on drian and spin.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple Controls - Still Going

Had this for about 10 years now.
We like the simple control settings and it being a top loader.
The top edge of the drum had some mildew that I had to clean up to remove drum stink.
The tank can get mildew if you don't clean these once per month.
The flow valves start leaking as they get old and need replacement.
I disassembled the pump to find a lot of beach sand from all the towels that were washed.
Otherwise, it is relatively easy to repair by DIY if you are mechanically inclined.
We like the simple control settings and it being a top loader.
