best fridge

i love this fridge. it's spacious but not too bulky that it takes up all the room. I love that it's stainless. It's a "pretty" fridge if I say myself. I also like the fact that the freezer is separated and that it's a pull out. i love it

Product had to be worked on several times

The icemaker and the mother board had to be replaced just months after purchase.
Now the information light on the front of the refrigerator are so dim that you can not make out the settings; i.e. temperature of fridge, freezer.

Too many problems!!

I now have rust on the lower panel on the freezer pull out compartment. After many problems with the ice maker panel, water dispenser/rust, blocked air ducts, digital panel.....I have had it with this product. I have never used any products not designed for stainless steel and now I have several rusts pits beginning. This is junk!!!

We love the look, both inside and out. The LED lighting is what caught my husband's eye. The icemaker is noisy and doesn't make much ice (on a hot day it doesn't last and we have to buy ice). We have to slam the glasses to the water and ice dispensers in the door to get them to work, so we don't use anything that can break. Otherwise, I love the French doors and the freezer on the bottom.
Pros: Quality, Style/Design
Cons: Difficult to use

Great Design – Minor Changes

I really like the design of the LFX25975ST. I was glad to find a French door style with water and ice in the door. At first, I was not sure that I would like the freezer on bottom after having side-by-side model refrigerators. The layout of the freezer is efficient and really works.
I have a few design suggestions that I can share. I would like to be able to get water while opening the opposite refrigerator door. The last model of side-by-side refrigerator had this feature and I did not think it would not be part of the design going forward. The bottom draw of the refrigerator section should be split and into two drawers. This would allow only opening one refrigerator door to get something out of that drawer instead of two doors. This could result in additional energy savings. There seems to be a fair bit of space lost with slide out shelf design. I have never pulled out a shelf to store or retrieve something from the refrigerator. However, the support system for the pull out shelves has gotten in the way many times each week.

Horrible Ice Dispenser

We decided to replace our (still working fine) refrigerator with this one for the french doors, bottom freezer, and ice maker with crushed ice. We had crushed ice for about one week. The ice dispenser hangs up and the bin has to be removed to free it. We now only try to use cubed ice and the dispenser still hangs up. It is not broken, but it don't work!!! This refrigerator was delivered to us in early January 2010. VERY dissapointed with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really love this refrigerator. It only has 1 thing about it that I would change. The water from the door could be colder.

look high and low for a new frig. i have to say the lg is the best on the market, i cannot find one fault in this unit, the finish is outstanding, it does everything i thought it would, you cannot go wrong with this frig.
