So glad I finally purchased a Sonicare and so sorry I waited so long to do it!
I purchased another brand of sonic toothbrush several years ago because they offered lifetime free toothbrushes. When the first one died we replaced with a second one, again for free toothbrushes.
I found that I was literally brushing with pressure along with the sonic vibration wearing out the brushes and the toothbrush holder until it would no longer keep the toothbrush intact.
I am so happy with the Phillips Sonicare because I do not have to apply extra pressure, my teeth are cleaner and whiter, and my mouth feels just like I have come from a professional cleaning at the dentist office.
This product is well worth the investment.

This toothbrush was recommended by my Dentist and Dental Hygienist and I couldn't be more thrilled about a product. Once you try it you will never use an old-fashion manual toothbrush again! Love it! Love it! Love it!

My wife and I noticed an immediate clean and smooth feeling on our teeth after the first use. After two weeks our teeth were whiter than they were getting using the strips. We like the case that came with the tooth brush for travel. The charge lasts for quite a few brushings. I would definitely recommend this product. It is well worth the price.

My teeth feel great!

I have recently purchased my second Sonicare recargeable toothbrush. I cannot believe the difference in the clean feel of my teeth from using a regular toothbrush! When I travel (which is only occaisonally), I use a regular toothbrush and my teeth NEVER feel as clean as with my Sonicare. I recommend this highly to anyone who wants the best cleaning for their teeth. My dental hygenist said "I have to search to find something to clean". She said that is a huge compliment for me. Of course, flossing after brushing is also important but just the clean feeling I get with my Sonicare is worth the few dollars I spend to replace my brush heads. Thanks for letting me voice my opinion.

It definitely cleans well. The drawback is that it vibrates too fast for my liking. Sometimes my teeth are more sensitive and I feel like it is hurting me a little. It also gags me sometimes. I thought it was just me since I have an "easy gag button", but it does it to my boyfriend at times, as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
