A replacement for my earlier Sonicare, this is no substitute.
The oscillation frequency is lower, hence the lower vibration pitch, so I suspect that it doesn't work as well, either.
The only switch is a toggle-function button that also serves as the power button. One push switches it on, but a further three are required to switch it off. Really inconvenient. I wonder which model the design team use at home? Let me guess - Not this one?

*Spend the extra and get one of the top end models.
Pros: travel case included, it won't kill you
Cons: power switch, lower frequency oscillation
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had other Sonicair products in the past and loved them too. Only wish I have is that the blue/green base that the brush heads store on would hold more securely to the recharging base.

Excellent product except for cycling through the power options

This is a great product (have been a SonicCare user for many years).
With the Diamond Clean head, had the best check up ever.
Only anoyance is having to cycle through the three power options every time I turn it on - there should be a better way to set the power option you want and the button should be just "on/off"
Pros: best dental checkups ever
Cons: have to cycle through the power everytime

Best Electric Toothbrush I have ever bought!!

The price of this Sonic Toothbrush was a little high compared to Oral B, but the performance of this Sonic Toothbrush certainly is well worth the extra $ $ in cost.
After just several brushings, my teeth feel shiny and smooth, as if I have just walked out of the dentist's office and spent an hour in the chair having my teeth checked and cleaned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wished I had purchased the Phillip Sonic years ago. My teeth are really clean and no sore gums, therefore I would recommend it anyone. Its easy to handle, rechargeable and easy for storing.
Pros: best for keeping your teeth clean and long lasting
Cons: pricess and lack of control button.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Philips Sonicare healthywhite rechargeable toothbrush is the best brush in the best brush you can find. Cleans better, very comfortable, excellent battery?
Pros: best cleaning, good battery
Cons: price of brush heads

I have used this toothbrush for two years now and still love the deep cleaning I feel when done. I have given this toothbrush to my married children as gifts and they love it as much as I do. The toothbrush's simple recharger is handy and small enough to take on vacation. It only needs to be recharged on average of once every two to three weeks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

3 Cleaning modes!

I have used electric toothbrushes for a number of years, and this particular Philips Sonicare is the best to date. It is slender and comfortable to hold, and does an excellent job cleaning. It most certainly cleans much better than manual brushing alone.
Pros: compact design, easy to hold, 3 modes
