The unit does clean and move out food products, The vibration is too high , and the handle needs to shorter as a regular tooth brush to move to brush the upper, lower and the back the the teeth. It is hard to get to the back the the teeth with such a large handle.
Pros: cleans out food products from teeeth
Cons: handle to large

We love this toothbrush! We are on our second one, the first lasted 4 years. It makes your teeth and gums feel so good - and our appointments at the dentist have improved with the use of the sonicare. I would recommend it for everyone!

I like everything about our Sonicare HealthyWhite rechareable toothbrushes. I have one thing to say about the design. It would be nice if the back was somewhat flat so that when you lie it down to put toothpaste on it, it would stay still and not roll and flip your toothpaste on the counter. Otherwise, it is perfect! We have used Sonicare toothbrushes from their beginning.
Pros: my hygienist does not have anything to clean

The toothbrush consistently stopped vibrating when I applied slight pressure to clean, so I bought a replacement this weekend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please ensure you follow the below given guidelines to effectively use our Sonicare toothbrush.
1. First, make sure that your toothbrush is fully charged.
2. Did you purchase your toothbrush within the last 60 days? If so, your Easystart feature may still be activated. The Easystart feature gently increases power over the first 14 brushings to ease you into the Sonicare brushing experience. If Easystart is activated, your brush may not seem to be as powerful as expected.
3. The Easystart feature on your toothbrush may have been activated. To determine whether it has, place the handle in a plugged charger base and press the on/off button firmly. If you hear one beep, the Easystart feature has been deactivated. When you use the brush in this condition the brush will be working at its full power level. If you hear two beeps the Easystart feature has been activated, and you will feel less power.
4. If your toothbrush has more than one mode of operation, you may have activated a different mode with a different brushing action. For brushes with dual speed settings, the dual speed button may be at the reduced speed setting.
5. Old, worn brush heads can also seem to be less effective or powerful in their brushing action. If your brush head has been in use for more than 3 months, it should be replaced with a new one.
If the issue with your toothbrush still persists, then please call Consumer Care on 1-800-682-7664.

More thorough brushing results

We've been overall quite pleased with this product. We have purchased 5 toothbrushes for every family member and the results are good. The down sides are the mold that amasses where the brush is attached as well as the cost of the replacement brushes. It adds up quickly with 5 Sonicares.
Cons: area between brush and base gets very moldy often, replacement brushes very expensive

Easier Dental Cleanings

After using this product for 3 months, I was due for my 6 month dental cleaning. I can say there was a lot less time picking and cleaning my teeth by the dental hygientist. Much appreciated.
