I purched three supersonic tooth brushes, one for myself, for my boyfriend and my son. We all love it! Out teeth are deffinitelly cleaner and indeed whiter. Very happy with the product and the purchase.

Pros: whiter teeth!!, feels great!!

Toothbrush base does not last

We bought the dual set of Sonicare toothbrushes. After about a year, one of them would not keep its charge. We called Customer Care to have it replaced. After another few months, our second toothbrush started to show signs of breaking down (ie, it would turn on by itself and would not turn off until the charge was depleted). Again we called Customer Care and they replaced it. After another 6 months or so, the replacements also stopped working. At this point we reverted back to manual toothbrushes. The longevity of the product did not equal the price paid.
Cons: did not last
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello

We’re sorry for the disappointing experience you’ve had with Sonicare toothbrush.

For most Sonicare toothbrushes, use the following procedure.

1. Plug the charger into a live electrical power outlet.

2. Place the handle on the charger.

3. The flashing light on the handle indicates that the toothbrush is charging.

Note: It takes at least 24 hours to fully charge the battery.

For PowerUp, the procedure for checking to see if the handle is charging is different.

1. Plug the charger into an outlet that you know is live.

2. Place the handle on the charger.

3. With the handle on the charger, press the on/off button. The handle should not activate when it is charging normally.

4. It takes approximately 30 hours to fully charge the battery.

Please note: In step 3 above, if the handle does activate on the charger, you may not have the charger plugged into a live outlet. To confirm that the charger is plugged into a live outlet, repeat steps 1-3 using a different power outlet. If you repeat the procedure and your handle continues to activate while on the charger, please feel free to call Consumer Care on 1-800-682-7664.

Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm EST

Sunday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST

Excluding major holidays

200 percent better than anything I have ever used

I originally purchased this product in 2009. A year later I called Philips because the head had broken. There were absolutely no problems getting a free replacement head as it was still under warranty. Best customer service I have had in a very long time! I now need to purchase another replacement head as it too has broken. Considering this product lasted 5 years I would have spent more money on regular toothbrushes over the same period than I spent on my healthy white sonic are! I am a customer for life!
Pros: the 2 minute timing cycle, awesome plaque removal
Cons: can't a think of any!
