It does what a tooth brush is supposed to do. Too early in its use to tell if it does it better. At least 6 months of use are needed to see if it does, indeed, control the tar better, for example.

The only thing I'd change is the storage unit for the brush. It keeps popping off the base. The toothbrush itself is absolutely wonderful. This is my 2nd one. The first lasted nearly 10 years. How's that for quality!

Healthy Clean and white has many new design features that are improvements over Sonicares older models, especially the ease of cleaning. My only quibble is the toggle switch between the tow modes of brushing. Everytime you press the power button (which I do often, to add more toothpaste, or to add more brushing time) you chenge the mode. Plus, you cannot tell what mode the toothbrush is in while you are brushing, so you have to turn it off to look! I like the whitening mode but find it very hard to access. If they made this simpler this would be a great toothbrush. As it is, it's still very good.
Pros: great value clean teeth
Cons: white mode is hard to access

Stop Flossing!

My Dentist doesn't even know I've stopped flossing! Although it is easy to miss spots entirely, this brush does an amazing job if you are careful. The amount of time the hygienist has to scrape is down to 30 min from over an hour.
Pros: improves gum health
Cons: replacement heads are expensive

Each member of my family now owns this brush, teeth feel extra clean while preventing cavities. Definitely an upgrade from the manual brush.

Absolutely love! Replaced old Sonicare with this one and love the comfort of the handle, the color changing bristles, and just went to the dentist today and she asked when I whitened last. I told her that I don't, so this product must be helping.

Makes your teeth stay cleaner and smoother. Breath is fresher. The whole mouth gets clean efficiently. The zone timer helps to give each area of the mouth the appropriate attention.
