Durability is substandard.

My wife and I have had Sonicares for years. Current model with brush that fits over steel pin is a weak design. She had here's replaced twice under warranty. Then mine failed, but post warranty. So had to buy a new one. Very disappointing. Bought cheaper model for grandkids. The quality of cleaning is excellent, too bad it is so poorly constructed.
Cons: quality of construction poor

Sonic energy is fantastic. Cleans teeth amazingly. Suggest improving method to switch to third stage for teeth brightening. Front indicator panel traps tooth paste since it does not have a good surface seal.
Cons: tough to switch to 3rd stage for teeth brightening, indicator panel traps tooth paste.

Never realized a toothbrush could work so well. I've tried inexpensive "spinbrushes" but my dentist told me they were insufficient and recommended the Sonicare. I'm really impressed with the difference. My teeth are so clean after use that they squeek.
My husband and I share the Sonicare and it's very easy to change the brush head for each use. They simply click on and off and do not come loose with repeated changes.
Also very easy to clean by popping the head off and rinsing under the faucet. Impressive appliance and so happy we made the investment.

I have actually updated to this brush level. I liked my old one. This one I love! Gets my teeth sooo clean! They also look so much whiter after i brush! I feel like im doing the best job i can for my health hygiene with this tooth brush!

The toothbrush we had before these only lasted about one and a half
years and the ones before that lasted a lot longer. I though we just got a bad one and bought the same toothbrush to give them another chance and this will determine if we buy them again.

I don't like the handle since it cannot lie flat on any surface. Roundness is good but the back should have some type of indent so that it will lie flat. Prices on replacement brushes too expensive

i have always have sonicare tooth brushes for at least 10 years. i love them...i have sensitive gum problems and soft mushy plaque and my hygenist suggested this product and that is what i am still using and i highly reccomend to all consumers
