Sonicare Healthywhite Rocks!

This is my fourth Sonicare product in about 15 years and I must say absolutely the best of the lot. It truly is amazing how much 'brush power' is packed in such a slim and compact handle. The added bonus of a brush head sanitizer is a true plus. I give this unit an unqualified five stars!

Cleans teeth very well but can be easily damaged

The Sonicare does a great job clearning teeth, is easy to use and recharge. However, the model we use is quite susceptible to damage. We have owned Sonicare toothbrushes that were EASILY damaged--the part that makes the brush move became loose or broken. This problem occurred just after the warranty was no longer in effect, so we had to purchase new Sonicares. If it is possible to reinforce/strengthen the moving part, I'm sure the unit could withstand a mild impact (like dropping) and last longer.
Also, I would love to purchase the Sonicare as gifts for my grandchildren but find the cost a bit too high. I hope the price will eventually be more affordable.
Pros: cleans teeth and gums very well
Cons: unit can be easily broken
