Less plaque

My dentist told me I had much less plaque after using the Sonic toothbrush for the past 6 months. In fact, it was the cleanest my teeth had been since going to this dentist for the past 10 years!
Pros: automatic timing for each zone brushed
Cons: takes a little practice to get it right.

Love my sonicare

I love my sonicare and can't stand it when I don't have it. It feels like I can't really get my teeth clean without it. The only thing I have a problem with is staying really clean where the toothbrush head is removed from the base. Other than that I don't want to be without it!

I like the the three different modes of operation. The quad pacer was a feature on the elite. The barrel of the unit is smaller then the elite and took some getting use too.

I was skeptical about spending so much on a toothbrush, but after just one use I understood why my dental hygenist recommended this product. My teeth feel so clean! I love that there is a gentle cycle and a whitening cycle in addition to the regular clean cycle. I love that it came with the UV cleaner. The toothbrush holds its charge for a really long time, too. I definitely recommend.

Improved over old models

The old models with the screw on head allowed water into the brush base which got dirty and mioldy. The new model is completely waterproof.

Love Sonicare, dislike the bottom to turn it off.

I have had used a Sonicare toothbrush for over 20 years and I would hands down reccomend using a Sonicare over any other kind of brush. I have been very frustrated by the button to turn this model on and off. You have to press it 3 times in order to stop the brush from moving. Why? It is such an annoying attribute when trying to spit or rinse during brushing as it sprays toothpaste, mouth germs and water all over me and the mirror.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have been using sonicare toothbrushes for over 8 years and they are really good. My old one died and I went with this one. It feels much more aggressive, even if it isn't, and the handle is slimmer and easier to hold. My only complaint is they change names and models so often you don't know what you are getting. Bought this one and when I went to buy extra brushes, found out this was discontinued. They just sell it under another model now. Not a big deal, just frustrating.
