Okay but Takes More Than One Pass

Like another reviewer, I find that I have to go over the same area a few times to catch the hairs it misses on the first pass. I notice that if a nose hair is curved, I have to change the position of the trimmer a few times to finally get the missed hair. Same with trimming the eyebrows. I have a few grey hairs that this trimmer seems to not cut.
Pros: nice design
Cons: requires a lot of effort to finish the job.

Cannot recommend this

Used it about a month and it suddenly stopped working. Used a fresh battery that my tester showed was full power. Simply won't run now. The on-off switch is hard to use. I lost the receipt, so even though it is less than 45 days old, I have no recourse but to throw it away. If you need a nose trimmer, keep shopping!
Pros: cheap so you can throw it out
Cons: very short life expectancy!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor product

Requires multiple use over the same area in order to cut the hair as well as cleaning every few minutes in order to even achieve that. Very poor performance considering what I paid for it. Purchased in January of 2012, and has always performed poorly.
Pros: decent design, water washable
Cons: cuts poorly, frequent cleaning to perform at all, use over same area several times to cut

I had the same experience as another user -- it suddenly stopped working. I tried fresh batteries also. Likewise I did not have the receipt so can't bring back. Won't buy another Phillips Norelco product again.

sorry guys but this trimmer is worthless, does not do the job it was advertised to do, and since it came in "blister-pack" style packaging I couldn't even return it to the store I bought it at. Very disappointed in this product, will not buy Norelco again.
Pros: none
Cons: waste of money

Decent little kit that does most things well. The curve of the cutting area takes a little getting used to. Could have a little more power and sharpness, though. Sometimes have to go over areas several times to get the job done.
Pros: design, shape, accessories, value
Cons: underpowered, cutter could be sharper

It does the job. It is kind of noisey. Vibration is OK.

Doesn't clip nose hairs very well
on June 17, 2012

When I first used the trimmer, it would cut my nose hairs quickly and easily. Now, it takes more time to get the hairs clipped. It seems that the blades are dull, and I've only used it 3 times. I have to move the trimmer a lot more to get the hairs to be cut. My old trimmer from another company cut much better, and they are basically the same design...I got rid of it because after two years the blades were dull, and the motor was dying. I've bought Norelco shavers for a long time, and have one now...so I thought this trimmer would work. Too bad it isn't working out. Aloha, Rudy
