This is the second time I have purchased this product because I have been happy with it

This product was a replacement for the same product that I had for about 5 yrs. I really was happy with the old one until some of the teeth broke. That is why I purchased the identical same one about a month ago. While is identical in looks, I have had a problem with the cover for the batteries. It does not always stay on the trimmer and has to be repeatedy put back, as it does not always lock in place. Other than this, it is a much sturdier trimmer than others I had tried while looking to replace the original product with the same model. I was happy with the old one and that is why I purchased the same model again. Unfortunately, I have had the problem as stated above.
Pros: it does what it was purchased for
Cons: problem with the battery cover

Quit Working....

I've owned several of these trimmers and the same thing always happens, they quit working after a month or two. I hoped that Phillips/Norelco might be better quality but the same thing happened. Your trimmer works great cuts cleanly, doesn't nick and the feature that allows me to rinse it off with water is nice. All that is only good if it works. I of course tried changing the battery but that didn't help. Given my experience with other products I kept my receipt so I'm returning it to Target.
Pros: does a good job of trimming
Cons: didn't last
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This clipper replaces a AA battery powered rotary clipper. It is easier to use and does not drain the battery as quickly.

Not too bad for the price

I was hoping for something that quickly and easily would take the hair off right down to the skin for "smooth-as-a-baby's-hiney" neck hair, etc. It just doesn't get that close. Works OK for nose hair & not so good for ear hair.
Pros: cheaper than others
Cons: doesn't make a smooth-skin shave.

Hard to use on nose hairs.

Vertical cutter is hard to use on nose hairs. They really need a horizontal cutter, like most other mfrs. units that have a whirling cutter.
Pros: light weight
Cons: bottom cover/on-off switch comes off too easily
