This is the best washer I've ever owned

This is the best Purchase we have ever made! in our 36 yrs of marriage we have owned quite a few washing machines, but this is the 1st front loading washer we have ever owned (and the 1st LG) we are TOTALLY in love with this washer! it is getting out old stains on our clothes that our other washer couldn't!
It requires a little more up keep then other washers (wiping down the door seal/glass) and draining/cleaning the pump filter-ever 2 weeks) but it really doesn't take that long and it's so worth it for amazingly clean clothes!

Great Machines

We bought the front load washer and dryer combo. Love the features and choices offered. We replaced older machines and the time and energy we are saving is unbelievable. We would definitely recommend these machines to anyone. Should have purchased sooner. These are our third LG appliance purchase and could not be more satisfied with all.

Good washer so far

I have had the unit about 2 months now. The washer has performed well so far. I am not pleased with the front loading feature as it is not easy to transfer the clothes between the washer and dryer. They are set side by side but the dryer is to the left of the washer and the washer door is in the way of making the transfer. I switched the dryer door hing but not able to do so with the washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After many many months of lugging our laundry to a laundromat. This washer was a god sent. I was stubborn for so many months because I didn't want to buy some used hand me down. So I waited and researched and then waited and researched some more. Finally I came upon this unit at the right time for the right price. It has been worth the wait. We couldn't be happier with it. We have it with the matching dryer which is HUGE. We use the stacking feature and its as if this set was made for us. Thank You LG for producing top quality product such as this one.

Best Washer I have ever owned

I have owned this unit for 18 days and it is by far a superior product from any top loader. We bought the pedestal for it and just haven't been happier. It is really easy to use and it makes our baby's clothes look even better than when we bought them at the store.

Perfect model for most

Almost exactly a year ago we got this washer and we have been very happy and impressed with it. There are more expensive models with more fancy options but we are at a loss why anyone would need them. This model handles all normal fabrics and has more than adequate load capacity for most people. we can wash bed sheets (including comforter cover) for 3 beds in one load easily with this model. It is efficient, quiet, and cleans wonderfully with less wear on the fabric which is one of the benefits of front loader washers. We made our own platform for it but you can buy one from dealer too so you don't have to bend over as much (not really a big issue unless you have lower back pain). We have only had to clean the trap a few times; i guess we may not have as much junk in our wash as some because LG recommends the trap be cleaned every month.

Not working yet

Purchased almost 2 Months ago and has not been working properly yet. Leaked from the second load. Very rough spin cycle. Serviced once and tub cover replaced. Even worse sounds and violent banging on spin cycle to the point I shut it down. Load was not large or items of mixed weight. Waiting for second service call. Very frustrating so far. One star because I cannot rate performance. Cannot use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
