No Hot Wash

This appears to be a quality machine, but it should not be sold for use with a tankless water heater. This machine fills with short bursts of water.... seldom is the water on long enough to start a tankless heater. Even if it does start the heater, the stop/start cycle allows large amounts of cold water to enter the washer. The result is always a cold wash regardless of the water temperature setting.
Pros: Quality
Cons: Difficult to use

I'm VERY happy with this washer; I've had it for nearly 4 mos. I SERIOUSLY upgraded, and it was a big purchase, so I wanted to make sure all specialty avenues I'd use were covered.
I haven't used the delicate cycle yet, nor the hand wash/wool, but I DID do a combo. of a "Dry Clean Only" men's winter casual coat - 2 layers, one down - and a lightweight wool, single layer jacket, and they came out perfect just using the normal cycle with a warm wash and cold rinse.
I've been very happy with the versatility of this machine; how it can have 'auto' programs, yet you can override.
I've only encountered a 'hitch' twice, same thing, and that's doing rugs. Rugs are always a pain. I got an error message, and redistributed the load. The only thing...I had no instructions on what to do/press next after I'd done that. The machine didn't auto-correct (I don't know that it's possible), and my manual didn't say what to do after you think you've corrected the problem.) I could only figure out (x2 so it IS a solution), to press Speed Wash - I didn't add any more detergent.
I am FAR from being a frequent user, once a week (?) for 2-3 loads, but I AM a persnickety user. I want it the way I want it when I want it, and it had better perform the way it said it would. I've been very happy.
(P.S. Given globalization, clarity of manuals can be iffy. LG's has been okay - though I haven't had to refer to it much, which is a good thing.)
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

great machine

Having a big family I have owned many washing machines. I previously owned a front loader and had nothing but problems with it. It was just a piece of junk!! This unit is however the best thing since sliced bread. You don't even know that it is on because it is so quiet. The first thing I noticed was how clean the clothes came out. If your looking for a great machine at a terrific price, this is the one. The only con I can think of is that it would be great if the rear legs of the unit were self leveling. If your install is in a tight location like mine was it would be a big plus.

Great washer... No problel with vibration with high speed spin on a subfloor.
The more expensive model gives you more control of the features like longer or shorter wash,...,etc.
I am happy with it.
Pros: Quality, easy to use, Performance

love this machine

This is our first front loader and we also bought the matching dryer and stacking kit and stacked them in the new laundry station in our newly remodled bathroom. When I was first married we had a ringer wash machine and the clothes came out very clean and rung almost dry, but the labor envolved was an all day chore, not to mention carring everything out side and hanging it on the line to dry! We have had a couple other machines since then, and the labor has become much easier but the clothes just didn't come out as clean as before. Now, the clothes wash properly tumbling and spinning just right. When I open the door and take the clothes out I am amazed with how dry they are, just like back in the day. The wash smells fresh and the clothes are the cleanest they have ever been. I love this machine, I love the tinkeling song it playes when I turn it on and when the cycle is finished, how friendly and happy. The washer runs quiet and so does the dryer. The cycles are shorter, I use less water, electricity and laundry products than before and the outcome is far superior. I bought these machines because of their features and the ease of use, and because I waited till they were on sale I got a great deal on the cost and instalation making my new matching LG front load washer and dryer my new best friends.

Think this washer is great. We are amazed at the small amount of water used compared to the old washer. Clothes come out smelling clean and fresh. Very easy to use. It accommodates any size of load you need to do and adjusts itself accordingly.

worthwhile frontloader

Bought our first frontloader washer, what a difference. We spent years using top loader machines with the center agitator tearing apart comforters, tanktops, bras, etc. Now they just get REALLY CLEAN! What was two loads, is now ONE, with a fraction of the water, soap, and electricity used. Even our old style dryer is not running near as long to finish drying the clothes. Really nice knowing how long it will be until the load is done.
