Love this washer!

This is an amazing washer that cleans my king and queen sized comforters and quilts thoroughly without tearing them up like my top load did. It is quiet and does not vibrate! So easy to use and in the room next to the laundry room I cannot hear it running. Love the chime to start and end the cycle. Who knew laundry could be fun?

We did not know that LG existed until we read a review of washers and then, had to have one. We like the fact that it's direct drive, no belts, and it has performed beautifully. Everyone should check them out.

Before I went and bought it I read all reviews I could find, so I knew some of the washers "walked" when they spin, some were too noisy and some were too "smart" to do what the owner wanted them to do. Also I spoke with the friends who owned front loaders and knew what to look for. I chose this one at the store because of the price and looks. I fell in love with it when I did my laundry: not noisy and does the job! Over a month after we bought it we found out that our electric company can (and did) give us $100 credit and we can get a tax credit on it as well. Talk about value!

We have had this washer for 3 years and love it. It is easy to use and the clothes are nearly dry at the end of the cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washing machine in March 2009. For the first five years, it worked great. Then, it stopped spinning. I had the rotor assembly replaced by a LGEAI Customer Service Technician in November 2014. Now, just two years later, it sounds like an airport in my laundry room when the washing machine is spinning.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
