The washer is easy to use, cleans thoroughly, handles all types of laundry. Some of the cycles are too long but in a time pinch, the delicate cycle cleans well in half the time.

Cons: length of cycles

Good purchase, no regrets

This is our first experience with a HE front loader washer and we've been really happy with it. It's so much quieter than our old top loading washer. The old one bounced around on the floor during the spin cycle, this one spins so much faster but doesn't bounce or make too much noise. Although a wash cycle takes about an hour in this machine, it's somehow working out to getting all our laundry done faster - must be because of the larger capacity and less time needed in the dryer. Laundry comes out clean and fresh. I read many reviews for all types of similar washers that recommend leaving the door open when not being used and so far I have been following that advice, and have had no problems with mildew/mold/bad smells.
Overall I'd definitely say this was a good purchase with no regrets.

Great Buy!!!

This is a replacement front loader and we love the quiet of the unit. It clean quickly and is great on how efficient it is. It also is great in that our old dryer is drying faster. Cannot wait to replace the dry with an LG dryer of this set. Recommend this highly to anyone looking for a new washer. This was the first of about seven that I looked at and it came out on top in many categories and I am very happy with it.

No More Laundry Day Blahs

I am really impressed with my new LG Washing Machine. I no longer have the laundry day blahs since I purchased my new LG washer. It is such a delight to use. I really like all the features it has and being a front loading washer on a stand makes it easier on my back. I would highly recommend this front loader to anyone with back problems.

First HE washer purchase

I purchased this washer about a month ago, along with the matching dryer. My current washer (top load) at the time had quit working, so I did not have much time to research, shop, and compare. I have been very happy with this purchase. Has a large enough capacity for a family of four and gets clothes clean. I had a little bit of difficulty trying to figure out how much laundry detergent to use at first, which made the rinse and spin option helpful because I was using too much detergent. It has a pre-wash option, but the cycle does not stop after the pre-wash, which I wish it did so that I could pre-wash some items, then add more to the load and do a normal wash. It has plenty of cycle options, and the delay option is nice so that I can load it at night and have it start early in the morning, then dry it in the morning before I go to work.

nice but takes too long

This is my 1st front load washer. I have had it for 3 weeks. I like the control panel and options. I like very much how well it cleans and removes the moisture from the items washed. My only complaints thus far are 1) the time it takes to wash even the smallest loads, which is around an hour! This is a concern to me as I frequently have small loads. 2) the fact one must dry the seal after the wash is completed.

Not as quiet as expected in spin cycle

Sometimes it spins things and they get out of balance, which causes a strong vibration and can be loud. You have to be careful not to overload with pants. Overall, I am pleased. It is much quicker than my old washer and uses half the water which is wonderful.

Surprisingly Pleased

We needed a new washer/dryer so, we started reviewing what was available. We knew for sure we were going to buy a front loader/energy efficient, but weren't sure of the brand. I was leaning towards a different brand, but after much research we ended up with LG and I am extremely happy we did. The very first thing I washed were our sheets (I was putting LG to the test.) We had some stains that had been on them for a very long time and had tried everything under the sun to get them out to no avail. I took the sheets out of the washer and hung them on the line to dry. I then went to make the bed and yelled to my husband to come see. The stains were GONE!!! Thanks LG for a great product and I am very pleased with our choice.
