Easy to Use Efficient Washer

This washer is easy to use, is efficient and quiet. Absolutely no problems since it was delivered and installed. Our first front loader.
The value seems excellent as the ratings for this washer are higher than others that are much more expensive. We did not purchase the separate base as the price for those does seem excessive.

This is the first front-load washer that we've owned. I was some what skeptical about getting one because of the problems with musty odors and difficulty with belts going bad. We bought this washer because it has a direct drive, the warranty is great, and it was within our price range. I think that it does a great job washing the clothes and spinning the water out so that it takes half the time in the dryer. The only issue I have with it is that it does vibrate a lot during the spin cycle, and occasionally with get off balance... though the maching does correct itself quickly. I'm not sure if it's just not level or what. I have not had a problem with a musty odor, but I wipe the door with my wet clothes and then leave it open for about a half an hour after I'm done washing. One thing I've noticed is that water is left in the soap/bleach drawer. This hasn't been a problem yet... we do a lot of laundry. Overall, a great washer for the money with great features.

this washer is fantastic. I love it at the first moment it arrived. It works just as good as I expected, even more. it is quiet and smooth. Dosen't shake at all like my old one even though my laundry roon locate on the second floor. My old one did really bother me with the loud noise when it spin, but this one is really quiet. The result is so good even can handle my 5 years old boy's dirty clothes. It uses so little water but give very clean result. I usually set extra rinse becasuse I am worryied it migth leave the smell of detergent with so little water but it didn't. Now the laundry become so enjoyable. Thanks LG!

Bought this 6 months ago and am very happy with it. Appears to use a minimal amount of water but you can have it use more in the wash and rinse if need be. The only 2 glitches we have run into is 3 different loads finished without the spin cycle completing leaving the clothes soaking wet. The other is the machine not using the bleach in the bleach tray for the "cleaning" cycle. We will be calling to have it fixed under warrenty next week.

I was kinda of upset to have to spend money to buy a new washer and dryer whwn our old set broke, BUT now I am SOOO glad we did!! The efficiency of this washer is excellent! It even took out some old stains from clothes that have been there for months! I am so impresses and love the ease of use!SOO happy we spent the money on the LG!

This was our first front load washer purchase and we can't be happier! The capacity is huge, resulting in fewer loads [read: less time doing laundry]. The handwash/wool setting is great for delicates.

Was skeptical of a front-load at first, especially because I'm always finding one more thing to add once the load starts (but the machine allows you to pause the cycle if it's still early). It holds a lot of clothes so I'm not overloading it and do less loads, clothes come out clean, and the controls are easy to use. I also like that I can run a quick wash cycle for a smal load at the last minute for kids sports uniforms, etc.
Only issue is the vibration. The laundry is on the main floor (over basement) and our whole house shakes if I spin at higher than low. At low, I still get the noise at vibration, but not as bad. Have tried leveling (the level already says it is pretty even), but the provided wrench just bent and the legs won't adjust any further. Unfortunately at low spin, I can't get as much water out of the clothes, so my dryer has to run longer.
Overall seems dependable, have family members who have owned this longer and with no issues

Have had no problems with dryer. It dries really fast, I guess because washer spins so dry.
