Awesome Purchase

I had a front loader before, but a different manufacture. It didn't last long. I was upset.
We had read about LG and I really loved having a Front Loader so we did much research and decided to buy an LG. It is is the best purchase we made. The salesman advised that I leave the door open to the washer for several minutes after doing the laundry so the water would evaporate and not leave a smell in the washer. That was a problem with the last washer. It works great.

I have previously owned both top load and front load washers and the WM2101HW is hands down the best washer I have ever owned. It is easy to use (the options are self explanatory), my clothes are cleaner than ever before (even compared to my last front load washer) and the spin cycle leaves the laundry almost dry, saving energy on drying too.

Replaced a fifteen year old washer with this model and couldn't be happier. The difference in the front loader's easy loading and front mounted controls over our old one is amazing. Also mounted it on a pedestal and love the extra storage space!

Great Machine

Our washer had some problems at first. It seemed that the dampers must have been damanged either at the factory or in shipping. We had them replaced and our machine works great. No noise or vibration at all. It's been a pleasure to have bought this washer. We also purchased a matching dryer and it has work out great too. I never heard of LG until we bought our appliances. In the future we will be looking at other LG products to purchase.

I never thought washing clothes could feel cool!

This machine is awesome! We been married 17 years and have always owned hand-me-down washers and dryers. When our dryer went out recently, we decided it was time to make the investment, and by a new set. We wanted to get something we knew was well made, and would last for a long time. We spent 3 days comparing makes and models, before deciding on the LG2101 set. We couldn't be happier with our choice. This washer has been used daily for our family of 5 for the past two months now, and it's easy to see how well built it is, and a sinch to learn how to use. Although some of the cycle times might seem a bit long, the spin cycle gets so much water out of the clothes that it decreases drying time dramatically. We are also very glad that we invested in the pedistals. Otherwise you would have to get on your knees to change loads. Now they are at the perfect height, and with extra storage to boot! Overall, we have been completely satisfied!

Cons: long cycle times, very low opening without pedistal

This is a great washer. Everthing went perfectly. Controls are and settings are intuitive and easy to understand. Machine is a super washer at getting clothes clean and the spinning gets the clothes almost dry which save a lot on the drying side. We couldn't be happier with this purchase.
