It's a nice washing machine - all digital. It's quite after it fills with water. However to fill with water, it's very loud. Although it's 'energy efficient', it takes about 1hr to do a normal load.
Pros: Features/Settings, Performance, Style/Design

After alot of research (Consumer Reports, different reviews, etc.) we decided on this one. What a great washer! Does a great job on all the laundry. From riding gear to the most delicate items. One of the little extras this has is a little song that it sings when you turn it on, off or when it's finished, not one of those annoying buzzers. I can honestly say that whatever we're in the market for, LG will be the first brand we look at. Couldn't be happier!!!

This front loader is the best-of-the-best washing machine. Uses very little detergent, very little water, and clothes come out very clean. The menu of wash cycles is excellent and covers all washables. Clothes come out almost dry after spin cycle. Very quiet machine. Did not know what we were missing with our older top loader.

Overall, it's a great washer.
The very first load, I got an error code. The manual explained the code as an unbalanced load. After adjusting a few things around in there, it has worked wonderfully since. I am very happy with this unit.
I had a top-loader before and this front-loader works differently. As part of the program, it constantly starts and stops, reverses directions, etc., adds a little water, and so on. But, it cleans really well, so, so be it.
I also like that it tells you on the screen how long each program lasts, and how much time remains.
However, even with the pedastals, it still walks a little bit (< 1ft)over my garage floor.

We have owned our LG washer and dyer for 6 months now and can't believe how easy and efficient they are. Our biggest problem is accumulating enough laundry to create even a small load with just the 2 of us. Highly recommend this washer and dryer (DLE2101W) combo.

This washing machine looks complicated but is very easy to set for any combination of needs: highly soiled delicate clothes to lightly soiled jeans. Easy to care for and does a great job of cleaning.
