When I got my Galaxy Note 8, I immediately started looking for this case. I have the corresponding case for my iPad and I love it. However, on the iPad, I can dock the tablet vertically on the short side of the cover with the rests up and it will stay. This "trick" doesn't work for the Note version. I so wish I could dock the tablet vertically since I use this position a LOT. Other than that, the case is great and I feel my new tablet is safe. I was very pleased that the cover does not interfere with the performance of the pen. There is a little bit more drag, but no decrease in accuracy. I had also heard of some possible issues with magnet covers on the Note and was pleased to see there are no magnets on this case. If it only could dock vertically, it would be perfect.

Ive been an otterbox user for a few years now and havent had any issues with the case. The holster is another story, but that was before I learned why the holster is designed like it is.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: not a single one!

I love the durability of this case, however i would love to see more of a selection for the colors. The apple products have a number of beautiful colors but the note only has the gray and white, which is not a good fit for young ladies.

I have been using Otter Box products for several years now and find this one to be comparable with their past quality and performance. I would recommend this case to anyone looking for durable protection. I also really enjoy the stand/hard case. with that on I feel very safe shoving my tablet down into my commuter pack.
On a personal preference level. I wish the case was thinner. I find that the portion of the case above the screen is a little higher over the screen than is comfortable to use in my hand for long periods.
