Quiet, reliable humidifier

I keep this running most nights in my daughter's nursery to help with allergies and to keep her sensitive skin hydrated It is quiet and easy to use with well lit buttons that lock to prevent little fingers from changing the settings. The water container was easy to fill and held a considerable amount of water to keep it running throughout the night.

Mold!

I was initially super excited about this product until the mold came along! It creates an optimal environment for mold to grow which you can then smell in the air. Filters last about three weeks before the mold takes over and they aren't cheap to replace. I called customer service and was told that each morning i should lay the filter on a towel and allow for it to dry out! Seems a little high maintenance to me! Especially for a busy mom. The last chore that I have time for is drying out a filter on a daily basis. Customer service did not offer me any kind of recourse either. For a pricey humidifier I expected a whole lot more. Super disappointed. Save yourself the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek and holds a lot of water but a bit boisy

I like this humidifier and it is much cleaner and easier to fill than my Crane. The only drawback could be the noise of the fan which took getting used to. Otherwise it works really well for my son's nursery and it is easy to clean/care for.

Love my Huey!

I use my Huey in my newborn son's bedroom. It is perfect for the job. The fan on it is quiet & subtle so it doesn't wake him up when it turns on and off throughout the night. Since it doesn't heat up, there are no hot parts to worry about my two year old getting a hold of. There are also no places for my toddler to pinch fingers or touch the fan. It is so easy to refill, my 2 year old does it. She loves putting the water refill back in. Great product!

High quality, easy to use

This unit is perfect for a child's room. Has a control lock feature to keep my toddler from pressing the buttons. So simple to fill, easy to clean, and has adjustable humidity levels. It has a built in humidity monitor and runs to the level set. Compared to Vicks starry night humidifier that I have previously used, the Huey is higher quality all around and functions much better as a humidifier. I do wish it had a built in nightlight like the Vicks model though.

I use my humidifier only in the winter. After two full winters it is still operating perfectly, I've only had to change the wick and clean the basin. I lost the rubber o ring on the water bottle and Huey sent me a replacement for free. I really like the low water indicator light.
Pros: Acts Quickly, Easy To Use, Effective, Gentle
