We are very happy with our purchase of this refrigerator. The only problem we've had is the ease of sliding one of the drawers. We will attempt to remedy this situation. There should be an easy solution.

Great Fridge!!

Overall a very nice fridge. It has a lot of room, is set up nice and seems to be a quality product. Nice to look at, too. Price was very reasonable, is easy to clean and is very quite, barely know it's running. Overall agood buy.

whirlpool refrigerator was my first change it after 24 years because my wife wanted a new one, is the best product in the market always recommend it to my family and friends.

Ice Maker and Water Tubes

Its lasted 15 years, but during that time had to replace the icemaker twice, now it is frosting under the icemaker. I am going to replace the gasket to see if that helps. But after owning the refrigerator for only a year, the tubes for the water dispenser disintegrated inside the door and I have not been able to use the water dispenser. That was the biggest reason we bought the refrigerator, so we would be able to drink cold water and have it convenient for our kids. I would have reviewed it sooner, but I didn’t come across this site until I had to look for a gasket for the door. The refrigerator door will not stay shut and even though the gasket looks good I think it’s given up on life!!! It wasn’t a terrible refrigerator, but not having the water option was a great disappointment for the last 14 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

7 Years and Compressor Goes Out?!?

Purchased this thru Costco seven years ago. Discovered that the compressor stopped working. Another example of 'planned obsolescence'.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
