Bare floors only

I purchased this for quick cleanups in our kitchen/family room areas. Kitchen is ceramic tile and family room is hardwood. The problem is area rugs. Overall the design is great and the build quality is very nice. But for me the one fatal flaw is that the "teeth" on the brush head will dig into even short cut pile rugs and the vac will not move. Like spikes on a golf shoe. Electrolux should make it very clear this unit is for bare floors. Unfortunately I had to return it.

I LOVE IT

I have three of them. One in my basement and two on the main floor. It is quiet, not as loud has others. Picks up very good and easy to clean. I also bought two for my friends. I only wish that the battery could be replaced, without getting a new hand vac.

Lack of power

I have had 2 of these vacuums. They last about 6 months then they lose suction. It is a piece of junk. I don't know how to get it fixed and if i do will it work. I suggest you stay away from this product.

This product is not worth the money. Problem is the battery pack. After few uses, the battery dies or loses so much power vacuum does not work. To replace battery pack costs almost as much as the vacuum. Just sitting in the closet right now doing nothing. Cant even give it away as is.

Lack of charge

I purchased this item due to the reputation of Electrolux. Worked well for about 9 months. Now it won't charge. Everything is plugged in appropriately and the blue light is on indicating a charge. very disappointed.

AVOID Electrolux Ergorapido

This vacuum cleaner is a complete waste of money and time. I rarely write negative reviews, but this product is so appallingly bad, SNL would be inspired.
1. On carpet, the vacuum does not move forward. You have to pick up the entire vaccuum and set it down at a new location, so you can pull it backwards -- every time.
2. The manufacturer instructs you to leave the vacuum in the charging stand (because it supposedly stops charging the battery when full), but after being fully charged, it lasts 15 minutes max before dying.
3. After 10 uses (of approximately 15 minutes per use), it has become rickety and unwieldy -- like supermarket carts with wheels that want to go in all different directions.
4. The compartment to hold the dirt does not lock into place, so dust often escapes -- into the rest of the vacuum cleaner, and is a nice surprise for your face.

These are the key points. On a positive note, it has this awesome neon blue light when it's charging, and we loved the orange color.

only good for about a year

I bought this vacuum a little over a year ago and really loved it at first. It was great, loved the swivel and versatility of the 2 in 1 design. Unfortunately I'm throwing the unit away today because it no longer holds a charge. I've read countless reviews that say the exact same thing. If you want a vacuum that lasts longer than a year, maybe two this is not the one to buy. Very disappointed!

This product has a great design..but the battery charger doesn't keep the vacuum with a strong charge. Very very disappointed ..we bought 2 of these, one for home and one for work..
