I have this located in a different room from my router but only about 10-12 feet actual distance, works well, wireless movies stream fine on both netflix and cinemax. I'm using a wireless G router with it with no problems. A little pricey compared to other brands but really like the features.

This device brings multimedia to the next level. It is the first device that will mount a Mac OS X file system and play media on the Mac. The DLNA feature work great with the Mac using third party software. I have an AppleTV and like the functionality of the BD390 better. The interface is a little basic and it would be nice to be able to use pictures for a screen saver will playing streaming music. Over all this product is a winner and hope for further enhancements through firmware updates. This is more then just a Bluray player it is a media center.

Great BD player keeps getting better

The purchase of the BD390 was my first foray in to HD and I have been extremely satisfied. Out of the box it was easy to setup and use. One of the reasons I chose the BD390 was the WiFi capability. I have a Netflix account and wanted to move from my computer back into the Living Room to watch movies. I have not been disappointed. The responsiveness and video quality have been superb. When I purchased the player it had access to NetFlix and CinemaNow. With the first upgrade Vudu was added. These services give access to tons of HD content. I would highly recommend this player to anyone looking to buy a solid BD player.

Excellent Blu Ray Player

I've had my BD-390 for about 2 months and I'm very pleased with its performance and features. It loads discs quickly and I haven't found a disc format that it will not play. I've played CDs, DVDs, and Blu Ray discs and it has worked great on all of them. Connecting it to my wireless network was easy and quick. It updates itself through the internet automatically. I've played YouTube and NetFlix videos using the wireless feature and they work great. The only shortcoming I've found is the remote appears cheap...it works fine, but LG should improve the remote's appearance.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design, wireless

Great but still has problems

This is a wonderful product as a straight Blu-Ray disc player. However, many of its additional features still need tweaking. I have had nothing but trouble getting Vudu to stream HDX movies though I have a 20meg connection with ping time of 40ms and QoS of 99%. I have a home server on my local network and the my media section runs out of steam before it can even load the content of my music files directory or even a picture directory which has just over 1K of images in it.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Style/Design
