Great BluRay Player but...

Another great product from LG. It has a lot of features like internal memory, USB input port and integrated wi-fi. The only thing that I'm not happy with this product is the lack of media servers compatibility. I have tried several and none of them seems to work (medialink, Allegro media, etc.) It only appears to work with the included Nero software, which is only for windows I must add, so It leaves all mac users without support.
Ijust hope that LG fix this soon.

Super product. Worked right out of the box with my network. Does Divx streaming and supports wide array of media. Netflix support in the same box was a win win for me. When new updates are downloaded to the BD-390 it added VUDU and I'm sure other services without buying another box every again !!

We got the LGbd390 because it steams video from netflix. We have broadband and it works very well. I hooked up by netwwork cable and also used the wireless network. The wireless works very well and is good as the network cable. Easy to intall and easy to use. Upload very fast. We had an older dvd player that would not play all the dvds but this lg plays even the ones the older dvd player would not. We love it.

Cons: the tv control door hard to open

I wonder what the next gen will offer?

Solid product, but will need some massaging to optimize. Video is a breeze, but audio took some tinker to optimize with my receiver.
I bought this player because of the internal wifi, but the wifi drops from time to time for no apparent reason. If this is the primary reason for purchasing you may be disappointed.
Finally, the player is very slow to load a blu ray movie. I think that's a problem with the current blu-ray technology, but none the less, it's painful at times. (I've put a movie in the player, popped a bag of popcorn, and the movie is just about to the main menu when I return with my corn and there have been a few times when my movie hasn't loaded--firmware is up to date too!!)
The player is solid (video is beauiful, audio quality is first rate), but I just keep asking myself, if I shouldn't have waited another 6 months for the "next" generation (whatever that is).

Very Good Product

They almost got a perfect score for ease of setup and operation. Wireless discovery and access to Netflix was just as advertised. The missing link was that after it "discovered" my wireless network, entering my passcode was troublesome. The LG on-screen keyboard doesn't allow for capital letters. I ended up having to reset the passcode on my router and resetting every device on my network in order to have a passcode that the LG keyboard could input. Once all that was done, the wireless connection was easy.

My husband bought me this blu-ray for christmas we had been researching them for weeks because I wanted a really good quality product that had all the bells and whistles. When I saw this one I didn't know about the price but it is well worth it. I have no problems setting up I think most people arent familiar with electronics or computers so they make it sound more difficult. I love the netflix and you tube is so fun. No load time for blu-ray movies but a little for netflix but thats your internet too. You can have pictures and music on there download movies. If you know how to work all those programs its totally worth it its has everything I could ever want from a blu-ray player!

I am extremely satisfied with my BD390 player. It is easy to use, fast, and performs well. The unit was easy to set up. I am very satisfied with the excellence picture and audio coming from Blu-ray and DVD sources. I especially like the Netflix feature that allows me to watch programs and movies on demand. My only (minor) complaint is that the remote control does not light up when I am using it at night. I highly recommend this player to any one looking for a top-notch Blu ray player.

After expend so much money for others dvds and blu ray, this one it's one of the best, no kidding, I don't know if you remember that you try to open the case and wait and wait to put the disc and wait again, or all those glitches.
