Two issue

The Blue-Ray i a little expensive, the menu option is readable and also with future as is internet connection it should be mode skins available online. The few issues I noticed that watching Netflix video I got freeze few times, means remote control no respond and the buttons on unit doesn't work as well, I couldn't stop the movie, only unplug main power wire help, means hart power reset.
Second thing that I do not understand why power button is placed over the Drive Try - many times trying eject the CD I shut the unit down. The EJECT button i son other site.
I connected the device to network router but this device support WiFi as well, BUT you can use only one internet connection at the same time (silly) why have the two abilities and use one at the time ( e.g. the WiFi will go down you sill on the wire)
and I no idea how to use hidden TV buttons on remote control. My TV is different brand than LG but I have no idea how to program that remote control.
After that you can watch You Tube n full screen, share folders on your computer inthe same netwoek and get access direct from Player (nice) also it support MP# and DIVX movies ( some of them has issue with codec - it shoud have some option to installl codect or download it from internet, maybe next firmware update will have it)
After all I like it, but I am wait that the LG will release next stable Firmware with more option, because for that price I think they should do upgrade from time to time.

Great product, great features

Blu-ray quality is excellent. Fast start up time unlike other players. Netflix streaming is an added benefit. The wireless connection is occasionally spotty but overall not bad. Netflix could use some improved titles for streaming (not LG's fault). I'm still not 100% sure if this player can play content from my Mac, it does not appear this is possible so far.
My only real complaint is that the system does not remember the spot where you left off on the DVD if the player is turned off and then back on at a later time without removing the disc.

Easy to Set Up

I just set this up 3 days ago, and it was a lot easier than i had expected; it connected to my wireless network within 30 seconds, accepted the WEP password and registered with Netfilx within 1 minute; it streams wireless video from Netflix & YouTube smoothly, despite my only having a 811.g wireless router; would definitely recommend it

Everything That Was Promised

That "leading consumer review" was right, this is a first class unit. Remarkably easy to install (I just swapped it for the VCR/DVD combo in place and got rid of cables I no longer needed). It took all of ten minutes and half of that was moving the furniture in which it now happily lives. Set up was intuitive and remarkably easy. It found the home 802.11 network and was on line in a flash. Netflix was easy (who knew I had a view now queue set up by mistake) and the first download from Netflix was an HD film that looked simply stunning. No wi-fi dongles, no hard wires, just my trust Linsys-G 2.4 GHz router one floor up and no problems. And the quality difference on blu-ray and upsampled DVD is simply amazing.

Awesome Player

This is my first Blu-Ray player after having been a HD-DVD owner. This player is awesome.
I upgraded my AV/Receiver so that I could run HDMI into and out of the receiver. The HDMI set up quickly and I have never had any handshake issues dealing with the player or content. The picture and video quality have been awesome and the upscaling DVD quality has also been impressive.
If there is one thing I would like to see improved it is the way that photos and music are obtained and selected by the BD 390 from a home network. I haven't been pleased with that, but it also was not a prime criteria for purchasing this player. The Ease-of-use and Features scores reflect that particular unhappiness.
I recommend this player based on its Blu-Ray, DVD and CD capabilities and qualities.

Cons: Features/Settings, Difficult to use

Best BD Player

After shopping with Google Shopping and finding the cheapest price for this BD player, I find that I could have paid a little more and it would still have been a great buy. I use a wireless connection to the Internet with Comcast as my ISP, and it works great! Never any lag and the picture is just beautiful! YouTube videos are even great... can't rate them, but at least I can just sit back on the couch and just watch a few. Netflix and the player are an awesome match... I can usually hardly tell that I don't have a DVD playing. DVDs are upsampled the best that I have ever seen, so they look great! Blue-ray movies are just awesome! It boots up quickly, it is easy to configure, stays connected, and produces a beautiful picture. I don't know how anybody could best this player. It is absolutely awesome!

Almost perfect

I bought this blu-ray player because of its wireless functionality and the programs included (netflix, youtube, media streaming). I debated between this and a PS3, but I don't play video games much and didn't want to use a gaming controller.
The player was very easy to set up, though typing in the WPA code was a bit cumbersome using a directional pad. (side note: if I were to complain about anything, and this is getting picky, I would switch up the remote control. It's weak, especially compared to my sony TV remote.)
Having set up the system, I've been happy; the only app I wish was included was complete windows media center extender functionality. You can use the file explored interface provided on the BD390, but the media center interface is more interesting and user-friendly.
