I purchased this player in December 2009, and have been very pleased with it. The wireless setup was much easier than I expected, and have yet to have a problem with connectivity. Netflix streaming was the primary reason for choosing this player and it works wonderfully. Also, connecting to my home network was a breeze, and the ability to stream video and music from computers is great. Though it may take a few seconds for discs to load, the playback is very good as well.
The only complaint I have is the remote. Advanced functions (zoom, resolution, picture mode, etc.) are all encased in a compartment in the bottom under a sliding cover which is very inconvenient.

Good concept. Exceedingly poor implementation. Wouldn't recommend it to someone I *don't* like.
Cons: unstable, unreliable

Overall am very happy with connectivity and picture/sound quality. Access menus for My Media are difficult to see. Also I have to change the settings between my projector and old television and it resets default to a stretched picture every time I change it to HD output - who would buy a blu-ray player and want the picture stretched out? Get Hulu on there and life would truly be good!

Great Player

This was my 1st Blu-Ray player. The main reason I chose it was for it's wireless connectivity and netflix availability. Both work flawlessly. I was happy to discover that I can access all my home videos that I have stored on a network drive, but disappointed that none of my iTunes purchased videos didn't work.

Cons: nothing

It's a good machine

We searched for quite awhile for a good blu ray player. We asked a lot of people and checked many websites. We decide on this player. We get Netflix and it works very well. Like the wireless function. I would recommend this to anyone. Too bad it has been discontinued.

I think the pros have been documented through various reviews. Excellent picture quality and best in class menu system.
Cons:
- the remote is terrible with poor field (angle) and range.
- until very recently, the product was plagued with an initial network connectivity issue. After power on or power cycle one had to go through the network connectivity procedure each time before getting any channel that uses the network to work. Disappointing that it took this long for LG to fix the problem.
- There is no position memory feature for DVDs. I find this a big feature omission. Even my 7 year old DVD player has this feature.
Cons:

This product is very good at what it does. It is simple to use. I love its ability to be able to take and play my music library from my disk. It quickly loads a BR and is easy to interact and work with very intuitive.
