A good unit once you figure it out

I really like this player. It took me a while to figure out how to program the surround sound settings to meet my system's requirements. After figuring it all out the player is great.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings
Cons: steep learning curve
I would recommend this to a friend!

I spent a lot of time reading reviews for Blu Ray players before settling on the LG BD390. I am really impressed with its features, especially the ability to use a USB flash drive as an input device. The blu ray is great and upscales my regular DVDs very well. Another great feature is the ability to stream movies directly from Netflix. We never have to worry about there being "nothing to watch"! If you can find one, get it. I'm looking forward to checking out the new LG BD 590!

Cons: none other than the location of the eject button

Easy to set up, wireless capabilities are a fantastic convenience, my Netflix is able to stream in HD quality

Incredible blu-ray player, easy to set-up, connecting to our home network was a breeze. Netflix streaming is flawless. After research this and other blu-ray players this was simply the best.

Quick easy setup. Fast high quality Blu-Ray viewing. WiFi works like a dream. Love streaming movies from our NAS. Same for music and photos. All look incredible on our 65 inch plasma. The envy of the neighbors!

This is a great piece of equipment and the price can't be beat. Installs in minutes and is so easy a child could do it. I have had mine for six months now without any issues.

The player is good except that the audio is not in sync with the picture. This is most noticable when a person is speaking directly at the screen, and you can see their lips move. HDMI cables are not the cause, and firmware updates have not solved the problem. It makes watching a movie unbearable.
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, netflix
Cons: sound out of sync with picture, youtube account favorites do not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
