Love This Blu Ray player

I love this Blu Ray Disc Player. I have not tried the wireless option. i bought this player because it had the widest range of codecs [video] that would play, however one con would be it does not play WMV files. Other than that its awesome. I see that it is now being discontinued, thats a surpise...It has good price, excellent features, great value, looks good, ok it needs a better remote. I'm now looking for a new blu ray player for the bedroom.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

Had to search far and wide to find this player. Paid a hefty price but needed something with wi-fi and Netflix in one unit. The player is great, ease of use, load time, picture quality, up-conversion and the many adjustable features from picture size to sound. I will say the remote is fairly average but it does everything needed. The one complaint I do have is the wi-fi connectivity. While it works, it drops off once in a while and takes a bit of time to reset. Not a major issue and overall I highly recommend this player.

I know people people (like my brother) who buy electronics as if they were produce, never satisfied very long. My wife and I on the other hand represent those people who keep electronics long after they go out of fashion. I purchased this blu-ray player to play our AVCHD formatted dvds, from our camera which it does well. I also chose this player because of Cnets high praise and lack of horror stories from others..or even negative comments. This camera has quick load time and even has wi-fi. Well, wi-fi in theory anyway. It's a great machine and I feel justified in my decision I made. Wi-fi didn't work for us, had to use the cable...but cable gives you better quality anyway. So I would buy again.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, plays avchd format, netflix fun, no gremlins..yet
Cons: wi-fi sounds cooler then it works

Great wifi streaming, ethernet, netflix,vudu, cinemanow, youtube, and many other extras. Load time is very good as well and the picture quality is outstanding! I feel the price point is a bit too high and the remote control leaves a little to be desired. However, I see a universal remote in my future

Fantastic investment

I chose this player for its capability to stream wireless movies through Netflix. I got so much more! First of all it can handle every media type I've thrown at it including our home videos saved to DL DVDs. Secondly it can stream media from my computer such as video or pictures without the hassle of wires. It's also so easy to use!
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings
Cons: rarely i have to reset the network connection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned this unit for a couple of months now and am very pleased with it. I picked this model because of its wireless internet capability. However my ISP is not able to provide sufficient speed to allow HD video to be streamed. I went wired with this model to try to improve streaming performance.
None of this can be blamed on the LG, but I do wish the BD 390 had Pandora capability. I use netflix and hopefully Pandora can be added through an update.
But now that the new models are out with Pandora, I may be out of luck.
The only other issue I have had with the LG is that quite often when starting to stream video I have to renew the dynamic IP. Not a big deal but annoying
