IT beats all competition. I needed something that can play videos(mkv, avi, divx, etc) from my network wirelessly and this ones does it perfectly.

Great BD Player

I like this unit so much that I got my brother-in-law to buy one and he connected it to his 72 inch dlp and says it was so easy to set up and use that he didn't know why he ever bought any other product the LG. Mine works great and the wireless streaming is so simple to use its unbelievable. LG supports their products not like other brands that start with so. I like their products so much I bought a LG LH3740 flat screen for my computer monitor

Does everything LG said it would do flawlessly. Easy to use and no problems what so ever. Recommended it to a friend and they went out and got the same model.

I like my LG Blu-Ray BD 390, because it has a great features like sharing music from my PCs, Also great for viewing YouTube videos. Great quality blue Ray Dvd Player too! I hope I am able to connect to internet browser too! May be next version of update will do that.

I purchased a BD390 player in December and it has been the best electronics purchase i have ever made. It truely lives up to its hype. We have hundreds of DVDs in our library, so we feared we would have to replace them with new blueray discs, not so. This player not only plays the fantastic blu-ray discs; it plays our old DVDs and makes them look better than ever! you have to get one of these - and don't forget the network connection to Netfix and other online features. If you have DVDs buy this machine.

This player was very easy to set up and use with great features. It was up and going in about 30 minutes out of the box for a slow old guy with limited techy skills. The Netflix streaming feature was a biggy for me and worked seamlessly. A little more trouble with the photo retrieval from my PC wirelessly, but is working. Quality of picture is amazing. Only wish the remote was backlit.

Cons: no backlight on remote

Very happy with with this player except for very weak wireless reception. Despite adequate signal for computer functioning, I had to hardwire the BD390 in order to access the network reliably. Unsure if this problem is addressed with the BD590
