Great Blu-Ray

If I could figure out how to get my movies to play full screen, this would be the perfect Blu-Ray player. I'm sure it is something I am doing wrong. However, the setup and ease of use of everything else has been impressive. I love the built-in wireless and have had no problems playing movies from Netflix or You Tube. Picture quality is greater than I expcted!

Amazing purchase

owned this for 1 month and have not had a single problem. easy setup with wireless connection, amazingly fast startup, perfect picture and upscaling of sd dvds. netflix and vudu work great, menus easy to navigate. remote buttons could be alittle larger, updates periodically, plays blue-ray discs beautifully. Best purchase I've made.

Better than expected

I thought I was getting a pretty good device when I bought it, but it exceeded my expectations. It seamlessly worked with my local network in the house, connecting to my NAS device which houses video files, audio files, pictures. Within minutes I was browsing those across the wireless on this blu ray product. I had a computer media machine hooked up but now I don't even use it because the blu ray works so easily. It hooks up to Netflix and some other services perfectly. The only thing on my wish list is Pandora streaming. Hopefully a future firmware update will allow this functionality. Aside from that - great machine, simple to use, and is a long-term addition to my electronics set.

Was very easy to connect with other components and set up. Picture is great, set-up menu easy to navigate. Haven't had any problems yet

Over bought

This Blu-ray player is everything and more than I needed. I had no problems installing the unit. The BD390 does almost everything it is advertised to do.
I had a problem with my wireless internet inside my house. Probably because of the Adobe construction, i.e. wire in the walls.
I hardwired the internet to the BD390 and have had no problems.
I probably would have been satisfied with the BD370.

Everything as advertised with one exception: Backward compatibility with DVD's is lacking. I can not play DVD's without a tremendous amount of pixilation. So much so that you can not view a DVD. The Blu-Ray playback is amazing. We also stream NetFlix which works nicely. Be sure to have a newer generation home router to handle HD content. The unit construction is solid and "High-end" feeling.

Spent about a year looking and waiting for a good Blu-ray player with many hours of research I came up with this one, it had all the options I was looking for. Load times are great, lots of options to change settings based on your tv and audio. It has a good design and seems like it is well built compared to other brands in its class.
I have only found a couple of minor downfalls, such as it will only work on a 2.4ghz wireless network. So if you have a dual band router one that does 2.4ghz and 5ghz it will only work on the 2.4ghz side, it also seems like it needs a better antenna has a hard time keeping a good conection with my wireless router though it was operator error but put my labtop next to it and I had full strength. I have also noticed the unit runs a little warm I think this is normal but to be on the safe side the unit is sitting outside my entertainment rack.
Still I have found this to be a very good player and the features are great! Would recomend this unit to anyone who is looking for a all around good Blu-ray player.

BD390 = Awesome

I couldn't wait to get my BD390 Blue Ray Player. I had heard about the remote being cheap and it is the weakest part of the player bud more than adequate. the player was a bit more expensive than most but.....well worth it. I brought it home, hooked it up and was streaming Netflix movies in less than an hour. The picture and ease of operation are both outstanding. I had recently purchased the LG LED Television and the combination is great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either one to my friends and feel comfortable that they would be happy also.
