Easy as Pie

It just works. This is the first time a CE product that claimed to integrate with our home network has done so without immense effort. The hardest part of this installation was entering the info from the remote!
Overall, this is a Blu Ray that I can happily recommend.
Only two things I can wish for: that it played standard playlists, and that it had a disk carousel. Next time, please?

Excellent TV with some software bugs to be fixed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally gave up my 50" plasma TV for the LG OLED55B7A and I am very happy with the decision. The video is excellent. I found as I usually do that I needed to play around a little with the picture settings, but video is very good right out of the box. Cinema and Technicolor modes are closest to my taste. UHD and HDR feeds really show this set off, but even 1080 HD feeds look better on this set than on any I've ever seen. Except for one matter, the audio is not relevant to me since I run all audio through a separate stereo system. (That's why I got the B7A instead of the E7.) The only problem I've had is that switching the inputs among different levels of HDMI, particularly from 2.x to 1.x, both the internal and external audio disappears. I have a programmable remote that I've set up with a workaround for this problem, but that is not the best answer. You also may find the audio synchronization adjustment useful, depending on your source devices. Over all, I highly recommend this TV and I hope LG will address the HDMI switching bug.

Setting up was less than 10 minutes - including Netflix, Cinema Now & You Tube.
I used an HDMI to my plasma tv and a digital optical cable to my receiver. The picture and sound are incredible. I have played dvd's, blue-ray's and dvd+r's. No problems so far. This is my 3rd LG product and I have not been disappointed yet.

BD390 OK, could be great!

I recently purchased a BD390 and it basically works as advertised. Great picture, easy to connect to network and canned online services work well. Once I realized I could add RSS feeds to extend access to online content, I was very excited but soon found out most RSS content I've tried isn't compatible. Specifically, I haven't found a streaming radio service, such as Pandora. I am hoping a future firmware upgrade will allow and then this product will meet it's full potential. I can't afford to upgrade my disc player as often as my computer, though they are beginning to look a lot alike!
Pros: Quality, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design
Cons: Features/Settings
