Easy to setup, never jammed or any problems. I fax, copy books, print and scan all the time and never have issues. I love that the ink cartridges have a light showing me which cartridge to replace, and the integrated online ordering is convenient. I wish the paper tray held more paper, but overall this has been a very reliable and easy to use printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second all in one Pixma. BUT- this one has been nothing but trouble. Nothing ever works. Support had to teach me how to start the print spooler which I have to do with every use. Now it won't scan or print, it does still work as a copy machine. I hope this saves you a lot of aggravation, and money.
Pros: High Quality Output
Cons: Difficult to use, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My only real complaint is that sometimes it is busy "processing" for minutes.
We can expect windows 8 drivers shortly, correct?
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, High Quality Output, easy to use

poor quality pictures. when copying, you have to wait forever for the first one as it clicks and clacks and hims and haws. sickening!

you color ink will disapear

I have only printed color a few times in that last 3 months and no photos,, the color ink gets lower every time I turn it on,, if a color (that I never use) runs our you can not print scan or fax until you shell out more money for ink that you do not need..
It cost me about $1.00 a page to use this printer. 90% of the time I use just the scanner.

I have tried and use other brands..ink consumption is high, wifi is difficult and print speed is glacial. Disappointing!

Settings + Patience = Awesome on a Budget

Honestly, this purchase was intended to be the average quality every-day printer. From day one it fit the bill as a replacement for the odd report, list, or what-ever. In a pinch, I tried printing out a quick photo and thought, "Meh. I've seen worse but this is only worthy of the fridge!" Fiddling with the various settings in both printing and scanning, though, I've come to be pretty darned impressed with this thing. In fact, with the help of some specialty papers and a little patience, I have to admit to some absolutely stunning results. Who would have thought?!
Pros: reliable, High Quality Output, economical
