Best printer ever had

after finding drivers for the 10.6 os for my imac for about 30 mins i couldnt figure it out so i could support and they were very useful and helped me with ease. The features of this machine is great, it has great speed, pictures, and i love it
Pros: Compact Design, easy to use, fast print speed, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Difficult Setup

Setup for wireless use was confusing and it couldn't find my wireless connection. I switched to LAN connection which is faster anyway. I like the ability to print on both sides of a sheet of paper. The photo printing is excellent quality.
Pros: durable, easy to use, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Difficult Setup

Actually a good printer. I foind it is easy to use and, definitely, versatile. Copies and scanning with all the bells and whistles and no more difficult than most office copiers. Duplex printing is easy; howevver, sometimes jams if first side has heavy ink coverage. Photo printing is clear and accurate. Wireless set-up was extremely easy and made it easily accessible from every computer on the network.
Construction sometimes feels flimsy (paper tray) but nothing has broken yet.
My objection: ink cost, This unit drinks ink like iced tea on a summer afternoon. Ink tanks are low capacity and I am replacing them monthly with only light to moderate usage. That may be a factor of the high resolution; however, I have not found a way to reduce the ink consumption to an acceptable level. Cannot recommend.

Plesently pleased.
Though the foot print is larger than the older "compact all-in-one" the Canon MX860 FIT IN THE SAME SPACE SNUGLY.

Print slow, other than that work's just fine. The PIXMAMX860 has all the requirement needed to runa A home bade business.

The product is easy to set up wireless and to operate. Excellent value for the price. However it has a large footprint and is slow.

My old printers were driving me crazy with software glitches and the Canon MX860 was recommended by my computer technician. I've been very happy and the scanning to my computer function has been so good I no longer need a separate scanning program. This is my 4th printer and by far the best.
Pros: reliable, easy to use, intuitive software, reliable software
