An excellent, fine operating machine. The only confusing part is the paper feeds - the machine sometimes signals that I'm "out of paper", when actually the lower paper tray is full. When I place a few sheets into the upper tray, that's where the machine prints from.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed

We had a MP830 loved it, but it stopped working and per warranty dept it would cost to much to repair, I was so sad. It was explained we could trade it for MX860 technology for technology. Still sad because I thought my MP830 was the best. Well once we got the MX860 home to my surprise, its just as wonderful. I love every thing about it. Not hard to install and the Manual (getting started) was perfectly worded. As easy as 1, 2, 3. I am so happy and pleased. Added bonus it comes wireless ready what a special function (wire less) yay, but you will need to purchase a router did not come with one :(. A special bonus: the installation Disc will link to creative park. (fun , fun, fun). Our Teenagers love the whole package too. We love the look and style, its also very quite compared to the MP830. Lots of options. Thank you Cannon.
Pros: durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors, sleek, all in one perfection, med - fast print speed
Cons: High Ink Consumption

So Far--So Good

Just finished setting up which was very easy for an old ???. However, I downgraded features for two reasons. First, the power cord is way to short. Second, printer should have duel telephone outputs. I solved both problems by buying a UPS to park closer to the printer and transfering other equipment to it with longer power cords.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use, Sharp Tones & Colors

First I would like to say that this print has heft to it and I love it, that means it's packed with features and I am not getting a piece of flimsy gear. this printer is excellent for home office.
I simply love the wireless feature NO CORDS!! except the power cable that is an A+ in my book, speaking of wireless this printer was not hard at all to setup for wireless printing.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this printer :D
Pros: durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors, heavy/bulky

I am so happy with this printer. It was very easy to set up, it has great performace and the wireless capability is great!!!
I must admit that if you are not technosavy it might be confusing to set up but I am a technogeek so it was elementary for me. Dont let that deter you, just go through the steps one by one for your system and you will get it...I also think there is a customer service number to call if you have a question.
I was going to go with the more standard printer names but Cannon is sonominous with quality pictures so I took the chance and I am way more satisfied with this brand than with any HP or Brother system I have ever owned.

I had the Canon i850 before this and stayed with Canon because I was familiar with the functionality of its product. It hasn't disappointed. It performs well, makes great copies and photos, and prints relatively fast. Not as quiet as my old one, but doesn't detract from my overall satisfaction. It did take some time to set up but was easy to do. Perhaps the only drawback is that it's, as my son says, GINORMOUS. Course, he has the HP PhotoSmart. (sorry about that!) Also, have always had success with customer service and tech support. Couldn't be happier!
Pros: easy to use, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Heavy/Bulky

Really Solid and full featured product. I like its ability to print double sided, and also its versatile scanner that can auto scan double sided documents. I installed it on a network that has Mac and Windows machines, and it installed smoothly on all devices with minimum fuss. Don't know about its wireless capabilities as I have hooked it to my wireless router with ethernet cable. Software is decent and versatile.
What I don't like- like all inkjets, you will fund yourself ordering ink often if your print volumes are heavy.
Pros: durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, reliable
Cons: Large Footprint, Heavy/Bulky, High Ink Consumption
