Have had the 47lh40 for over a month now. I am impressed with the quaility of the HD pictures.
To date I have had no problems what so sever with the performance of this TV, I would hightly recommend it

Could not be happier with this TV. So excited to sit back and watch an action-packed movie! The picture is so clear that I feel like the actors are in our living room!

I bought this tv right before Christmas 2009, and it is by far the best tv that I have ever owned. Then picture and sound quality is superior to other brands that I have looked at. I am very happy with this television and I will be purchasing more LG products in the future.

I did my homework before purchase. I liked what I read and what I saw. I used to install cable so trust me when I say I have had a chance to see, opperate and check out the opptions and opperation of possibly every make and model of tv out there. Some were impressive to look at. Some were easy to opperate. Some were loaded with all the features. Well my LG in my oppinion is everything in one very attractive package! It is simple to use. The picture is 10 out of 10. Video games are great on my LG. Built in speakers are very high quality. I have had ZERO issues with this tv! Can't wait till I can hook it up to home theater one day soon.Unbelievable value!!! I recomend TRY IT and BUY IT!! You'll be very happy!

What an awesome television

I had my eye on this TV for about a year. You always see a LG when you walk into a bar or resturant, and I have noticed what an awesome piture. You could compare with some of the others hanging around the bar and notice a big difference. Was very happy to see a quality TV for such an affordable price.

This is a great tv for the money. All of the features that you would expect in a top of the line model and much more. Beautiful color that looks like you were there when the show was being taped. Automatic color adjustment is great and the ability to maximize the picture yourself is a real bonus feature.

Got my 47" for christmas, work great, picture clear. Was able to go on-line and get extended warranty. Love the features, easy to use. My only reget is that I waited this long to get it.
