Excellent Picture

Excellent picture as expected. I did my home work settled on LG for it's quality and value. I chose this TV and it did not let me down.

Picture quality is awesome. It is simple to use and set up. However, there are a couple downsides. First the audio is slightly off sync with the picture, although this is easily fixable if using a home theater system. The only other problem I have encountered is with some minor ghosting problems, and I'm pretty sure that this is a cable issue(not broadcast in 1080p in my location) or a problem with dvds that are in less than 780p.

The product is beautifully crafted. The picture is beautiful. The sound is beautiful. The options are plentiful and easily understood. I have never been more pleased with any home entertainment equipment purchase.

We got this TV as a wedding gift and couldnt be happier! Great picture, great sound, easy to use. A little bit tricky to set up, and I'm still not sure what some of the features the box said it has actually are, but overall a great TV.

I purchased this 47 inch HD set in September, 2009. It has a beautiful picture, so realistic. It is fantastic for watching football games. You think you are there. The sound was also greatly improved over my previous LCD set. I was a bit disappointed when I discovered it had no RCA jack outputs for audio. I had a small external speaker system I was using with the old set and wanted to connect it to the new one. However, I soon found that the external speaker was unnecessary as the new set had ample sound quality for my family room. The HDMI jacks made connecting my DVD recorder a simple task. I also love the USB connection. I can watch my digital photos as a slide show on my 47 inch screen. I highly recommend LG products and this set in particular.

Cons: no audio output jacks

Awesomest TV of my LIFE!

I couldn't be happier with the purchase of this TV, I have never actually taken the lunge to purchases a huge TV like this, but being able to look at this thing, every night after I come home from work is a dream. The picture is spectacular, The HD is crystal clear, and its just a beautiful piece of equipment.
BUY THIS.

Love TV but

Picture and features are Fantastic but there is a problem with the voice sync when using the HDMI vs a Home Theatre. When using just the HDMI, I cannot sync the picture and sound using just the TV speaker`s. Would like LG help or a software update. Still, SUPER TV..

Have had no problems with the TV in the past 5 months since I bought it. The picture is great and the options are easy to setup. One note, with the energy saving option turned on, the screen is fairly dark. Had to turn the back lighting up to play some video games.
