The tv itself has a nice picture to it, easy to see from side angles. My only problem is getting my surround sound system working with it, To this day, I am still on tv speakers,, any ideas without paying for getting it working right?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My friends and I love this TV. I couldn't be happier. It is the perfect size with the perfect picture. Loved it so much that I bought an LG blue-ray to go with it. Simply awesome!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

I just bought this television today, and my only complaint about it is that the screen occasionally goes black for a few seconds while watching a dvd. Otherwise, I like all the rest of the features, customizing the video is the most in-depth (but not confusing at all) I've encountered yet.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Style/Design
Cons: hdmi could work more smoothly without flickering.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great TV, strange design at bottom-right of frame. I actually thought it was melted until I compared with picture. Other than that, I am very satisfied.

Excellent LCD TV for the Price

This TV provides great picture quality when combined with the LG LHB953 Blu-Ray Home Theater system. The blacks quality will require minor tuning from the adjustment menus, but otherwise, great picture out of the box. Would be nice to have the ability to play media files from a media server.

HORRIBLE QUALITY

I bought this unit as it was on clearance. It seemed like a good deal. Within a few months it would stop responding to remote control commands. At the same time, the side push buttons would not work either. I would have to unplug the unit to get it to work again. The picture quality has been so-so depending on the input. I would avoid LG products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome LCD HD television. The picture is unbelievable. The LG home theater system looks great with the TV. The sound and picture quality are great. The only thing that concerns me is the intelligent sensor. When it gets dark in the room, the sensor kicks on and makes the picture darker. There must be some way to turn this off.

Best TV Ever In Our House

Purchased this TV as a first big screen HD TV ever. Did quite a bit of online review before even looking at the product. Have had this TV for about 1-1/2 years now and could not be more pleased. We liked this model so much that we purchased another 42" model for another room in the house. We are still excited about the quality every time we turn the set on. Great for everything from movies to sports. Love it!
