What about captions?

With my previous TV set, whenever I muted the sound, the captions automatically came on. This was a very convenient feature when I had to answer the telephone, and I miss it a lot. I have looked through all the user information and cannot find a way to turn that feature on with the new LG TV.

This TV is the best investment I've made for a TV especially my first HDTV, the picture is very clear and games look amazing on it..

Too bad this is a discontinued product. We are more than pleased with our 42LH30 ! But knowing LG , there just making things bigger and better !

Hands down a great product. I use external audio.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, swivel mount is great for multiviewing use.
Cons: audio has some occurrences of lag.
