Good quality TV for a good price.

I chose this TV because it was a good mix between price and quality according to the Fall 2009 Consumer Reports TV reviews.
My primary concern in purchasing this TV instead of the same size and resolution was the 120Hz refresh rate. I was very hesitant to buy if the picture was going to be blurry during high-speed image moving. I am very pleased to report that I just can't tell. I watch some sports and action DVDs, tv shows, and Bluray discs and I can't detect a blur.
I was also concerned about the sound coming from a flatscreen TV since I don't have an additional sound system, but I am pleased with the TV's speakers. I don't feel as if they are bad, but I'm not an audiophile.
Overall this TV was an excellent purchase and I am pleased with it's performance, features, it's looks when off, and it's power consumption. I would recommend this TV without hesitation.

Exceptional TV!!!

I've been wanting to purchase a HDTV for quite some time and finally decided to go out and get one for my birthday. I was looking for great picture quality and good pricing. I work in the Television/Film industry so everyone I work with has great knowledge of electronics. Everyone recommended either LG or Samsung. After doing lengthy research LG proved to be the best bet. The picture quality is phenomenal, it has a very extensive amount of features, great design and extremely easy to use. And best of all... great price!!! Truly an exceptional buy that I am extremely happy with... I would recommend this TV to anyone!!

After spending hours on end reading reviews and consumer ratings, I quickly discovered that LG is at the top of there game when it comes to HD technology. Knowing this i was hesitant to start pricing there products. That all changed when i came across the LH430. Talk about the most bang for your buck! It is very user friendly and picture quality is amazing. You cant ask for better contrast. Thanks !

This was our first LCD (and HD) TV so I wasn't sure if it was worth the price and the hype. It absolutely was. I loved the fact that it was lightweight, swivels and has multiple sound/screen options.

42lh30 very nice design. Looks great hung on the wall. Has a great picture, lots of connections, and all for a Great Price.

I have not had to do any adjustments whatsoever on this TV it was perfect right out of the box, owned it for almost a year now with now trouble and am still amazed at the picture.

This is my first LCD TV. For the price this is a great starter LCD, picture is great, controls are easy to understand adjust. Love it.
