The filter cannot always fill the 30-cup dispenser. Not sure why the problem is. It also leaks whenever I placed it in my 7-cup pitcher and the water read 143 instead of 000!

We are sorry to hear about the issue, with a particular filter. Please call us at 1-800-503-2939 and we will replace any filter that is not performing properly.
Zero water filters helps my water taste very clean and pure. The only downside is when pouring water through the filter sometimes the water does not go down. I find I have to bang the filter against a hard surface for several minutes in order for the water to go down. I do this every time before replacing a new filter otherwise the water doesn't pass through the filter. I wish I wouldn't have to do this. Otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars.
I ordered my filters and at the time I was feeling anxious about some changes that were happening with my water filter gauge (the one that indicates when it's time to change the filter). I e-mailed ZeroWater and they replied promptly, with a suggestion that solved my problem.
Great product. Sadly I have not been able to take advantage of the supposed return for recycle program. I have several years worth of cartridges stacked up in my garage waiting to be returned. I have contacted the company several times about recycle returns but never get a reply. Hate to add all these to an overburdened waste stream.
These filters work very well. I particularly like the meter you get with the pitcher. I live in an area with ~137 TDS coming out of the tap. When I first moved here the tap water smelled like a swimming pool. Point is, who knows what is in there. Sure enough, it is zero when it comes out of the filter. Typically that meter reads 3-6 when I begin to taste something weird. I change the filter and I'm good to go. I think better design is called for with the pitcher though. There are too many corners that are hard to clean and mildew can grow there. Smooth and round is the way to go. And GLASS! How about a glass pitcher? Or a big glass container with the tap at the bottom! Great product. Room for improvement.
