Great Tasting Water

I purchased the ZW and extra filters before I ever tried the system. My tap water tastes funky so I figured I would try ZW. The ZW states to replace the filter once the meter reads 006. The New Filter never got below a 006 and now (after 1 week) reads 044. Considering I was drinking the tap water, this is still better than the +300 straight from the tap

I guess it filters everything out very well but the filters are expensive they are not recyclable and they only last for about 10 days also they sometimes don’t properly filter the water

We have a recycling program available at zerowater.com. Due to the amount of variables involved we try and stay away from using time to determine filter life, instead we use gallons, a more constant form of measurement. Filter life is based solely off of the quality of the water being filtered. The higher the tap water is in dissolved solids the shorter the filter life will be. From time to time, a filter may develop an air bubble or air pocket. Carefully lift the reservoir, grip the body of the filter at its mid-section and give the filter 4-5 squeezes while there is water filtering through. This will return the flow back to its normal state.

Defective Filters

Last Christmas my daughter gave me a box of 4 replacement filters as a present. After 3 weeks, all failed completely ! They simply stop working !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ever since I learned that Zero Water is the only pitcher filtration system that filters out deadly Chromium 6, which is found in nearly every water system, I knew I would never want to be without my refills. I love the TDS tester on the pitcher’s lid, too.

I have used the ZeroWater filter system for the past 4 years in two different homes in 2 states. It has made nasty tasting water in both homes drinkable, and is a good solution to improving water quality without a large upfront investment. I do not like that there is so much material to throw away--the plastic containers and their contents. I was sending them back to ZeroWater the first couple years, but the shipping cost is expensive.
