Zero filters do a good job. I would like for them to last longer, but I suppose there are trade-offs. The water tank is the problem. If you don't thoroughly clean the tank, the filter is the least of your concerns. Furthermore; it's not just the filter or the tank, it's that crud that accumulates in the discharge nozzle of the tank. While it is EASY to clean, I am sure most people never figure this out and therefore the crud in the nozzle contaminates the tank water and the whole thing taste terrible very quickly.

We appreciate your feedback and your review has been forwarded to the marketing and design departments for further review.
I have been using these filters for quite some time. I noticed over the past year the quality has changed. Many of the filters stop filtering and I have to repeatedly take them out and bang the sides of the them to resettle the contents. It is very disappointing. Sometimes they never filter and have to be thrown out. They are very expensive and I was very happy early on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We certainly apologize for the continued frustrations with the filters, the filter getting air locked like this is a common occurrence with a gravity fed filtration system. Unfortunately it is just somewhat the nature of the technology, generally if you put an inch of water in the reservoir and then grip the middle section of the filter with both hands and firmly squeeze the filter in a pumping action until you are completely certain that there is no more air coming out of the top of the filter this will solve the issue for the life of that filter. If you do not clear all of air from the filter this issue will continue to compound itself over and over. Also never fill the reservoir directly from the faucet or spigot from your sink as this is naturally aerated and will force air down inside the filter. It is best to fill the reservoir with a large glass or measuring cup and pour into the corner of the reservoir away from the center of the filter. If there is ever a filter that simply just will not fix itself when the aforementioned trouble shooting steps have been followed we are more than happy to replace that filter. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Before using ZeroWater filters, I couldn't tell one water from another. Now I don't even have to test the water to know when I need to replace the filter. I love having filters on hand so I can replace as needed, without waiting to buy another one. I also save money by buying in bulk.
Easy ordering reasonable price. I like the option of the 12 pack because we do have to change filters pretty often and constantly having to order more was a pain.
I’ve been using Zero Water filters and products for years upon years. The filters are a high standard 5 stage filtering system. I used to LUG bottled water home from the store. No more! Each filter lasts our family of 3 approximately 2 months dependent on intake. My last purchase of 12 filters supports my gratitude of this product. I recommend Zero Water products to everyone!!
