Filters don’t drain properly. Why do I I have to take the top out of the pitcher and sit it on top to get it to drain? And once the water reaches the bottom of the filter it stops again. So frustrating but it’s a good filter. How can this be fixed?

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. From time to time the filter can develop an air lock, some little air pockets or air bubbles that get trapped down inside the filter. Typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock.

If one finds the water taking longer than usual to filter through, pour the tap water directly above filter. This helps burst the air bubbles in filter and the tap water filters through smoothly.

While not inexpensive, the more you buy the cheaper they are. My tap water is 283 and Zero Water bring it to 0. My family has been using Zero Water for years.

We have been using ZeroWater products for over 10 years. They just make the water taste so much better and I know that it takes out.all of the bad stuff that can be.found in water no matter where you are. We were fulltime RVers for many years and always had our ZeroWater pitcher and filters with us. We never had to worry if the water was okay to drink. Even our kitty, Sully, gets only ZeroWater to drink.
I love being able to order a large quantity of filters at once and then I know I won't run out.
