I have used your pitchers and filters for many years but in the last year or so (perhaps two) I have been increasingly dissatisfied with the filters. For example, right now I have a new filter in my dispenser and it "filters" very slowly. I put water in last night and upon waking this morning all the water has still not filtered through. When this first began happening, I thought perhaps I had gotten a "dud" and overlooked it, but this now happens on a regular basis (about every other filter).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. From time to time the filter can develop an air lock, some little air pockets or air bubbles that get trapped down inside the filter. Typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock.

Running water is the healthiest choice and far superior to water that has been sitting in plastic bottles for months on end. Imagine the heat in the back of those transport trucks with the water being contaminated by the heated plastic bottles. Once I found ZERO WATER I chucked the worthless Brita filter pitcher and filter, as it was no match for ZERO WATER quality and PPM after filtration. TY ZERO WATER for another fine product MADE IN USA! BUY AMERICAN MADE!
