Awesome 5 stage water filter! I have used Zero water filters for years- I use it both at home and at our cabin. I have tested our water at home both before (meter read 371) and after ( meter read 000) filtering. I won't use any other water filtering system
As bad of quality, that the water is in my city; unfortunately I was replacing the filters @ a rapid pace. Therefore, I now have bottled delivery service. Great Idea, if I was filtering Spring Water that is. I would go bankrupt buying filters. I am a disabled widow on a fixed income...love the idea, but it just didn't work for me!
I’ve been using zero water about 5 years now. For some reason, the filters are becoming “air locked” and the water isn’t passing through. I have to cut two small holes in the top of the filter to get the water to pass thru. I don’t know if you have changed materials in the construction, but they do not work as good as the ones in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sometimes the filters will develop an air pocket inside them. This can happen as the filter contents settle in transit or during the filtration process as air bubbles can become trapped inside of the filter. Then once the water level in the pitcher meets the air pocket it can stop or severely slow down the flow of water through the filter due to the pressure of the water both above and below the air pocket inside the filter. First try unscrewing the filter, then re-installing it. If that does not work to alleviate this, it is best to lift the filter and reservoir out of the pitcher or dispenser and tap the side of the filter using moderate force to help break up the air pocket. Then take just the filter & reservoir to the sink and put about an inch of water into the reservoir and allow that to run through the filter and right into the sink to displace and dispel the air pocket. After that has completed then return the filter and reservoir to the pitcher or dispenser and continue to filter water as normal. Ever since I started drinking the filtered water, I’ve had allergic reactions. Dry mouth, inflamed tongue, sore and inflamed throat. I’m not sure what’s in the filters so I’m frustrated that I can’t find out which ingredient is making me have allergic reactions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is coconut in our filters, this information is listed in the frequently asked questions section on our website.
We are long time customers and love our ZeroWater water cooler...best tasting water you can get. There is no bottled water that we have tried that tastes as good. Your usage chart indicates that filter should generally be good through 40 gallons of water, but we have found that we go through much more before we need to change filters...just another bonus! Thank you for providing such a GREAT product. Dave Asay
