Three weeks of use and the water turns to "lemon water". Terrible. And not what I am used to using these filters in the same town just two years ago.

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. Due to the amount of variables involved we try and stay away from using time to determine filter life, instead we use gallons, a more constant form of measurement. Filter life is based solely off of the quality of the water being filtered. The higher the tap water is in dissolved solids the shorter the filter life will be.
They work and water tastes perfect but they don't last very long.

At Least 40% Don’t Filter Well

I buy these filters in singles or two-packs. Unfortunately, 2 of every 5 don’t filter well. I put in the new filter, fill up the top of the container, then the tiniest trickle will come out. I’d be fine with a slow filter, but it’ll stop filtering when 3/4 of the water is left! I have to keep filling the top to the brim for any filtering to happen! This happens far too often and it’s infuriating! I never know if the filter will work and filter as it should or if it’ll slow/stop!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

From time to time, a filter may develop an air bubble or air pocket. Carefully lift the reservoir, grip the body of the filter at its mid-section and give the filter 4-5 squeezes while there is water filtering through. This will return the flow back to its normal state.
Happy to find replacement filters! Love Zero Water!

Need to replace filters every few weeks

Have been using zero water since 2018. Since then, the filter content is either getting smaller or less effective. Filters used to last a few months, now need to replace every few weeks (approx. 470 TDS, 1 person use). Also, filters airlock too frequently even at the beginning of the cycle.

Carefully lift the reservoir, grip the body of the filter at its mid-section and give the filter 4-5 squeezes while there is water filtering through. This will return the flow back to its normal state. With your tap water reading well into the extreme range of 470ppm filter will be short, you may only get 6 gallons or less from each filter. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0311/5499/5336/files/tds-chart.jpg?v=1601429855
