I had previously bought replacement filters from both Zerowater and from Amazon. From Amazon they are much cheaper because they pay for shipping, etc. In pursuing my last order, I, fortunately, check the negative reviews at Amazon and there were many complaints about improper filter performance and it was "surmised" that Amazon was providing replacement filters that were not manufactured by Zerowater. I decided to pay the higher total price from Zerowater to assure that I had their filters. I have found from using the filters from them that the filter perform as expected and I still getting about a month use based on my water usage. This proved to me that if I want confidence in satisfactory performance, I need to continue to purchase my replacement filters directly from Zerowater.

An amazing product! My husband and I have been using ZeroWater filters for about a year and I must say, it is the best filtration system we've ever tried, and we've used several others through the years. It is the only water that doesn't bother my stomach. And the customer service we've experienced is truly top notch! We couldn't be happier. Thank you for a wonderful product and even better service!

A huge difference!

Since Clarksville, TN water is only 125-132 range TDS, my filters do last a bit longer. I have the new 23 cup and a my original 6 cup and I use them for all my water needs; cooking, coffee, tea, or just plain drinking water. It is worth the extra cost per filter considering upfront and upkeep cost of a permanent filtration system.

GOOD FILTERS - material change defect

I received the filters this week and used one to replace the filter currently approaching end life. I screwed the new filter on to firm hand tight as usual. As soon as I filled the reservoir with fresh water I noticed the new filter was leaking all around. I pulled the reservoir off the tank and tried to hand tighten the filter a little more. This was only minimally successful. So, I examined the reservoir with filter a little closer. I thought this filter maybe needed a tightening a little more even though it was already as hand tightened as possible with a tool. I realized I had the perfect tool: oil filter tool (picture attached). With this tool the filter tightened almost another one-quarter inch. Put the reservoir on the tank, filled with water, and: not leak. After comparing the used filter (received 8 months earlier) with another new filter I noticed the difference with the blue seal (picture attached). I still like the ZeroWater system and will continue using these filters not that I know installation needs a little more attention. Now that we all know the problem and an immediate solution I expect ZeroWater will address this with manfacturer. Have faith, I have worked manufacturing quality control.

I have been using the Zero Water system for years, I recommend it to everyone I know. I used the Brita pitcher before and I can taste the difference. I can actually taste when the filter is no longer working. I will always use the Zero Water over any other system.
