Lately, my filters don’t filter and I have to remove, shake and squeeze filter, to get it to filter, again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

From time to time, a filter may develop an air bubble or air pocket. Carefully lift the reservoir, grip the body of the filter at its mid-section and give the filter 4-5 squeezes while there is water filtering through. This will return the flow back to its normal state.

I've been using ZeroWater filters for about 5 yrs. and feel confident in drinking, good tasting, clear, healthy, filtered water. Great product...Thank you!
Product works great. Problem is filters last about half as long as their chart says. My tap averages 170ppm and I get on average 13.5 gallons from each filter. ZeroWster chart says I should be getting 25-40 gallons.

The filter in my high mineral water area only last 3 weeks, than the whole kitchen smells like 3 day old fish. Other brands of water filters don't have this problem, something to consider prior to purchase.

When you notice a difference in taste/smell this means the filter has been exhausted and needs to be replaced. Filter life varies per household - it depends on your household water consumption and the amount of TDS (total dissolved solids) in your tap water. Do you know what the TDS of your unfiltered tap water is reading? If so, we can give you an estimate of how many gallons of water you should receive per filter. Since we have no indication of your TDS levels we cannot determine if this filter failed prematurely or reached end of life. It is important that you periodically test your filtered water with your TDS meter and when the light comes on or the meter reads 006 or higher(depending on which meter you have) the filter should be replaced. I love the filters and have found buying them direct better than 3rd party - just wished they lasted longer! I drink a lot of water and find they only last for 2 - 4 weeks :(

Some years back when I bought filters they were not "wet", still curious...I sure love when the water is at zero on the meter, I find that when it hits 2, I can taste the difference, is this normal?
